Aesthetics & Dentistry

Female patient receiving Botox in Boston

We are pleased to be offering our patient Botox and Filler treatments in our office; Cosmetic dentistry and aesthetics go hand in hand.  While creating a more beautiful appearance through your smile it is natural to consider enhancements to other facial features.

BOTOX® is FDA approved to treat frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet in adults.  With over 16 years of research documenting BOTOX®’s safety and effectiveness, the use of BOTOX® is becoming more common place and socially understood.  The cosmetic use of BOTOX® has shown to have simultaneous medical benefits such as injection into the masseter muscle for facial slimming resulting in relief of TMJ symptoms.

JUVÉDERM ® dermal and lip fillers are an injectable gel made of a modified form of hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a naturally occurring substance in the body.  HA keeps skin soft and moisturized, unfortunately HA decreases as we age.  Fillers can be used to create a hydrated lip or fuller cheek resulting in a more youthful appearance.
